What do I do with the line coming off the valve cover?

What do I do with the vent line on top of fuel tank

For the line off the valve cover go to your local auto parts store and get one of those mini K&N style filters.
For the tank see can you find a vented cap.

I've heard there's a check valve in the gas tank connector but can't verify that. I used universal in line fuel filter for that one

mine doesnt have a check valve for sure.

Gas will flow out until tank is empty if not connected to something

The check valve is the elbow fitting on top of the tank, towards the carb..

On my other motor... A 208cc clone... It has the same... I just removed that hose... And added a filter to the other from the valve cover...

I used something like this cause I didn't know about the check valve at the time. Still haven't tried blowing through it

Honestly it was someone else's idea and I copied it. I haven't even tried to start the engine even. And I don't know what I'm doing. Trying to learn as I go.
Now I'm wondering if it's supposed to let air out and keep gas in.... I think it should be installed with the flow direction arrow towards the tank.? I think that's what I did
