Do anyone of you have experience using this clutch? It is a outboard only, 1in bore that tapers down and uses needle bearings instead of a bronze bushing. It's a ten tooth also.

ebay $35 i think. ive taken it apart, it looks well built and designed. anything has to beat metal to metal contact like standard clutches. i have high hope for the bearings but time will tell.

I used the same $30 ebay special on this cart. Use a 7/16 bolt on the end of crank. 19.5hp briggs twin, no gov, 5 to 1, (10t to 50), 15in tires, rode the crap out it, burned the tires to rim, many drag races, and the clutch is still fine. 10/10 would recommend.

how often did you have to grease the bearings? i took this one apart and added better grease.

I never took it apart, no oil, nothing.

Just abused the crap out of it, got it smoking hot tons of times, at least a hundred miles of holeshots, dounts, burnouts, and drag races until the frame started bending

This is what it looks like now, works , looks, and spins like new.

The key is floor it and lock it up asap

Well I'm am aiming for a 7 to 1 gearing ratio, so hopefully the clutch should lock up at a faster rate. Good to know it can handle some abuse. Even though my motorcycle will be a street application, its still gas and go. It's All or Nothing with those clutches.
