Need speed on grass, gear ratio

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and I am really stuck on my off-road kart. I bought it a few months ago as a project and I’m only a teen so I’m just beginning with engines, a mechanic friend helped me get it running , i don’t know what brand the frame is but it has a gx 200 clone engine and a centrifugal clutch, it won’t get any power or speed on grass and I think I know why, 1: one of the front wheels is out of line with the other one,
2: the engine is not modded in any shape or form (which I plan to do)
3: I am running a 12 tooth to 33 tooth ratio, which is not meant to be good for a 100kg+ Off-road kart I believe.
Would anyone know what I should do and what rear sprocket i should use?
Also my wheels are 13 inch I believe.

Probably want to run a 6:1 ratio, around 72 tooth sprocket. 33 will work when pigs fly.

Yep. You're at a 2.75:1 ratio. You need a 72 tooth sprocket on your axle.

Shoot, 2.75:1 wouldn't even work with a torque converter.

You are currently geared to do 81 kph at 3600 RPM. Or 51 mph. Not sure where you are from. Your mixed use of inches and kg leaves me wondering.

Does it even move without a push or a downhill start?
When the clutch starts on fire, replace it with a TAV-2 torque converter from eBay.

If keeping a Cent. Clutch, go with the 72T #35 sprocket.
If going with a TAV-2, get a 60T #35 sprocket.
(assuming you are currently running #35 chain)

These TC's are cheap. If a clutch is $25, then save for the torque converter. Your clutch is probably junk by now if you've been running that gear ratio for a while. It will need replacing soon.

Thanks very much for the help, I’m using a 428 chain and sprockets. Let’s say I go 15 kph on a 33 tooth sprocket, how much faster do you reckon it would go with a 72 tooth?

It'll probably go 20-25 mph.

The reason it barely moves right now is the clutch is sitting there slipping and burning up.
