Need some help please

Hello,

I posted this on the introductions page, but wasn’t sure many people would see it. So, here it is again.

I’m a total novice to karting. I need some help identifying this kart please. I bought from a friend for my kids, but just don’t have room for it anymore. It’s pretty fast (maybe 45+mph) especially when both engines are running. I’m looking to sell, but don’t know what I have. It came from a racing family, but person who built it has passed on. It appears to be professionally made. It’s a quality machine for sure. Can anyone help me put a value on this thing? Much appreciated!

I’d probably think I stole it if I could get it for $500 … so I say it’s worth $1000 minimum?

Thanks guys. There’s no marking/stamps on the chassis that I could find. That’s part of the problem. However, I highly doubt someone made the frame in a garage because of all the bends and precision.

Also, It’s at least 30 years old I’d say based on the limited history I have.

I have no idea what you have, but it looks factory and professional built. There is a forum titled " Bobs 4 cycle karting" that caters specifically to racing style karts, which is what you have. I would guess ( and I mean that quite loosely ) that for someone looking for an old racing twin, your kart would be a bargain at $1800. Try them out. It is more suited to what you have.

I think Pancho is a bit optimistic at $1,800. Probably closer to $1,000. I don’t see anything too special about it other than 2 engines.

Like they say, it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. California prices could be considerably higher than in Indiana. And I did say it was a quite loose guess. Thing looks pretty cool and well cared for. No idea.

It’s ok guys. Thank you for your input. Im just gonna put it up for what I bought it for. $600. Not looking to get rich. Was curious about what or where it was built and stuff. Thx again!
