Need some help on a go kart chain?

Hey guys,

I'm new here.

I bought this go kart locally for $225. 10 HP, disc brake, dingo frame, etc. Great deal. Everything runs great.

Problem is the chain. I don't know if you can tell by the picture but some of the chain links are bent so I can't go fast or else the chain will fall off the sprocket and frustrate the outta me

Anyway, I'm cutting the chain off tomorrow (has no master link for some reason?) and bringing it to a local shop to get a new one with a master link.

Real question is: Do you guys think that it the chain won't fall of the sprocket anymore?

unbend the teeth of the sprocket, a new masterlink wont do anything if the sprocket is bent.

Oh, no not the sprocket.

I'm saying the links on the chain are bent causing it to skip.

Oh, buy a new chain, there not expensive and it would be hard to fix it without lots of time and swearing.

Just get a new chain, and a few extra master-links and keep the chain tight, and it will not come off.
