need race frame

I have a yard kart which is fun but want to race does anyone know where just a race frame is? I have a block on the way and about to start buying aftermarket parts and build the motor for race but need another frame for cheap if have spare parts to a 5hp briggs and stratton or knows where a race frame is please reply.

You probably want more than a 5hp for racing.

I race karts and might be able to help, but I'd really need to know what track you'll be racing at to give good advice?
Also post your general area because shipping a used racekart is very difficult/exspencive and most sellers wont mess with it.

i am in mississippi yea someone out bided me on the motor so am thinking about going 10 hp b and s gonna get std piston and ring kit and eagle rod but can anyone tell me if i really need an eagle crank

Have you asked the guys at your track if they'll let you race a 10hp briggs engine?

With that engine at some tracks, you'd have to race in the Unlimited Sportsman class, where all the other guys have years of racing experience and $2000 race engines, that would leave a near stock 10hp in the dust.

I just want to know what track you want to race at so I can do some research and help you buy an engine you'd have a better chance of winning with at a reasonable cost.

I have heard the box stock clones are a cheap place to start. Approx $120-200 plus your choice of flywheel.

i got 2 5hp engines but willing to sell one i can race whatever motor at adventure speedway so i good.
