You think these 2 (4) mounting points will hold the shock of the suspension?

Where would yous place them to add the least amount of new material as possible?

Let me know if a better pic is needed.

-And thanks of course!

How long are the current shocks at full extension? That will dictate where you can mount them.

Actually, Im going to measure to be sure. I feel like Im not remembering correctly.

Lifting the kart up, they reach about 14.5".

Location
Mayberry, Indiana
Why do you want to move the shock mounts? How much will they compress with the full weight of the kart and riders on them?

Ever since I put it together Ive needed to because the swing arm has been extended over a foot. Having the shocks in the factory location was lessening the ground clearance plus always over-compressing the shocks due to the added leverage.

-That and I saw a piece of scrap metal and had an idea... If you know what I mean.

Its already done, I just need to be sure its supported.

I thought you were gonna mount the shock mount to the back frame.
No, that makes too much sense...

Really though, its because I need the factory area left alone in case I have to put them back where they go. You know, if it breaks lol.

Plus its just too much leverage that close to the frame.

The whole idea behind this kart is to not spend money. I could easily buy longer, stronger shocks.
