Need help!!

Hello everyone, just like to say before i explain my situation that im new on these forums.

Anyways, im currently studying motorsport at brooklands college and in my second year i have to do a project. I have been paired up with this boy who said he has a 200cc honda bike engine and is planning to put it into a go kart chassis. We have no idea how to go about it because we are both new to motorbike engines and go karts but obviously have a good understanding of how car engines work and therefore a reasonable understanding of motorcycle engines.

Any help is much appreciated

I made a gokart and put on a 200CC Lifan 5 speed motorcycle engine on it. Here is some tips:

(1)..Mount engine to your right side so it can get cool air flow.

(2).. Clutch lever on pole for shifter.

(3).. A good quiet muffler because your at the mufflers level and you become deaf......
