Need help

So I just bout a easy kart and need info on it , I’m rebuilding the kart slowly but I just turned it on and it’s trying to drive while idling and I need to k ow what motor it is so I can get the right clutch and where I can get it from ? Thanks in advance

That is a racing kart. A lot of them do not have clutches. They are either started on a stand then dropped or push started. I’m on a stupid phone so I can’t see to tell for sure. If you are patient Anderkart will be around and he can give you plenty of information on it. The engine looks familiar but the name is escaping at the moment.

Cool kart! ~ It's got one of the IAME brand engines made for racing in the TAG kart classes.

Your problem might just be caused by too high of an Idle speed. But If not, you'll find lots of online info, videos and parts to adjust, repair or replace your old clutch.

IAME has made serveral different engine models that look fairly similar to yours, but you should be able to positively Identify yours by comparing your engine to the pictures, carburetor part numbers & engine part numbers to the various models you'll find listed at this site: --> Tech Forms – IAME KARTING
