Ding ding ding we have a winner! On my predators I remove the governor internally but keep the paddle in the block so everything on the outside can be used like it's stock all it requires is a few easy spring mods. Way easier imo.

Hmm I need some guidance on how I should hook this up since I don’t have any governor linkage. The screw That is at the end of the cable is removable. I’m sorry if I ask for too much help, just a little new to this go kart hobby.

It seems like you have alot of work done into this blue kart.. Why not just get a new pred motor... It's much simpler to hookup and it'll run...

For that to work the way it was designed with a functioning governor, that would have to be connected to the governor arm with something like this...
I don't know if this part fits?? Not sure if it is a universal kit?

Then the governor arm would move the butterfly with the solid wire on top of the carb.

Would something like this work?
Secure cable housing at black arrow.
Secure cable at red arrow.
Add return spring between the two green arrows?
Or any other convenient bolt to secure the spring. The engine mounting bolt looks even better. A return spring that pulls directly on the butterfly valve would be best (ensure the throttle plate is closed).

The amount of movement is pretty small. Doesn't even seem like 1/2". Perhaps a using a spring in the linkage is better. Direct linkage might be hard to get sync'd right with the pedal.

Then again hooking to the governor arm not so hot as original springs removed so you'd just be pulling against the internal governor. Governor really should be removed internally imo but the paddle kept in the block so you could use the arm. Then maybe a bracket off a crankcase bolt that would hold both the cable and for attaching a return spring. All really hard to say I'm more hands on.
