Need Help!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm working on a gokart and haven't built one before. I build robots so I understand how the electronics works but need some help. I need a 500lb kart to go between 20-30 mph. I need a motor that can supply this much tourque and RPM. I will be using 12 inch tires. Also, it would be nice to have different gears but not required.

500lbs is seriously heavy. Is that including you? Have a look at some of the electric stickys on engines.

That includes me. Also, it will probably be closer to 400 lbs but 500lbs lets me have some room for extra stuff
