Need Help Engine-Clutch question
Hi Im rebuilding a kart for my son, I bought a new predetor engine but the shaft appears to be to short for the clutch. The shaft is 2.5 inches and the clutch would take at least 3-3.5 inches. Did I buy the wrong engine or do I need to get a different clutch. Im using the clutch (and clutch / belt set up) that came with the kart. Its a Comet 20 series drive clutch. Thanks for the help!
