Welcome to the forum. I don't know what the kart is but someone else will. It does have some Manco looking features (especially the steering wheel-which I can barely see).

Meanwhile- why not fill out your profile so we know where you are.

:iagree: That is a Manco for me with a home made cage.
the scrub brakes are upside down and the wheels are different but otherwise it looks identical to
this (confirmed to be a Manco 400)

Yeah that's really close... I know :D
I can't tell you more about it I'm afraid,
that's just an image I saved a while ago,
It was an ad in some other forum.

But IIRC jandj had the exact same kart for his "Low Buck Special"
maybe he knows more about model # and year and so on.

PS I'll drop him a PM.

[EDIT]
Ah the original Ad (reverse image search is a good thing):

Definitely, if you have the tools. Weld a piece of thick walled tubing that a 3/8" bolt will fit into to the rollbar and chassis. Make it long enough to put a nut on with 1/4" of thread showing past whatever length bolt you use (I recommend 2 1/2" ). Then cut through the rollbar and it.

Except the STEERING WHEEL? It screams Manco to me. I'm no pro. I have a long way to go to become a noob, but that's one of the things that did look Manco to me.

Ahh... now that I zoom on it... yea it is... thought the middle supports were metal(silver), was looking at the pic on my ipod at the time of my first reply.... All the Manco's Ive run cross are all black plastic... but Im one of those that believe that plastic shouldnt be painted silver... it's just plain deceiving!!! Like silicone mamories!... or those pushup/padded, over the shoulder, boulder holders...:censored::mad:

... sorry:backtotopic:

Although that is a perfect description of how to make a roll cage detatchable, any method of making a roll cage detatchable instantly turns it into a brushguard...
