Hey guys Ive currently been making a friction drive motorized skateboard using a whipper snipper/ weed whacker motor with a skateboard wheel on the clutch running directly on a larger wheel.I was wondering what is the best glue to be able to hold a skateboard wheel on to the centrifugal clutch of the engine:confused: . Ive tried just gluing it on with super glue but after a while the wheel slips and comes lose.
Is there any type of glue which would be able to do this? like some kid of super ultra mega glue industrial strength stuff, Im also in Australia if that would help with anything. So if any one had any ideas Id like to hear them thanks:thumbsup:

How about some sort of epoxy? I know some people that swear by JB Weld, I've only used it once and it seems like good stuff! Very strong and hard.

Super Glue ain't gonna cut it for something like that!

Ha, I was at Super Cheap Auto the other day! It really is pretty cheap for most stuff.

If the epoxy doesnt hold then put some grooves on the inside of the skateboard wheel, and rough up the surface that it goes onto. Then the epoxy will have a surface to bite into.
