Hello DIY community,

i have recently decided to build a drift trike! i picked up a motor i have steel for the frame. the problem is im a decent fabricator but idont have any clue for the mechanical parts. I bought a 7hp 208cc powerfist engine with a 3/4" crankshaft. what sprockets/chain size should i be using i was thinking of using a 1" steel axle and i want to eventually do a gouvner removal and get as much hp out of the engine as possible. Any advice/suggestions would be awesome and greatly appreciated!

p.s i live in Canada so some things can be a slightly difficult to find sometimes so links would be helpful

We're here to help...but honestly, we could spend days giving out volumes of information...or you can spend 5 minutes scrolling up ,hitting the search button....and DIY!

Hello and welcome...
That 208 has actually a good amount power already you'll be surprised... I have one on my other bike... 1" axles are a good start...
Finding tires will be a challenge, but look and see what you want then get to the building stuff...
