need help with engine.

hi i got a free honda 11hp with a gear reduction from a friend and i dont know if it will work with a gear reduction will the torque converter still engage.or would it not move i dont care about going fast i just want power to climb up hills.thanks any advice will help

No- you cannot just put a CVT or clutch on that, it will not engage. Check the unit, it may or may not have a built-in clutch.

You may be able to remove the reduction unit, but the PTO shaft may not be usable for your application. At that point, you're into a new crankshaft.

sorry guys i havent been on in a while our wifi thing broke.and we just got a new one ill try to get a pic up and i have somthin i want to show people.i got a new kart and not just any kart i got a carter mini monster truck for $200.i couldnt belive my luck.

you could probably potentially use that reduction box if you lowered the engagement RPM of the driver pulley.
