Hey Howdy!

I'd like to build a kart for my nephews. I have zero experience with karts. I've been riding/maintaining motorcycles for 30-some years, so I'm fair with a wrench. I've seen kits online for a "Kartco 330" that looks pretty simple, but I can't seem to find any reviews on the darn thing or the company. Anyone familiar with these kits?

I'd like to find a kart kit (minus the engine/clutch) that would make a good starter for kids. I like the old school look of a low cart for pavement or hard dirt - not interested in the dune-buggy style of cart with the massive cages.

If the guys like 'em, maybe we'll build something a little more advanced and go racing some day. But for now I want to build something simple for the cul-de-sac and local parking lots.

I'd also like to build something with American parts, including an American engine. Just not interested in Chinese stuff.

I hope some of you more experienced hands will be able to share a little knowledge with me.

Thanks in advance.

MADE-IN-USA since 1960
5" Nylon Tri-Star Wheels

It says that all in one chunk and im wondering if its just the wheels made in usa or its just the karts assembled in usa because i was pretty sure azuza stuff is made in china or someplace else?

you a racist and dont like anything but made in usa? what my name say its a joke

I prefer American-made products but that has nothing to do with race. I have found that many foreign products, and Chinese products in particular, are usually lacking in quality compared to American-made products. In addition, I want to support American businesses. I don't care what race the person is who sells me the product, I just want them to be American.

if the money and jobs stay in america im happy but when the jobs go over seas to some commi company is when i get pissed off..... it hurts our economy just because the orig manufacture of the product was to worryied about filling there pocket by producing them cheeper in different countrys and killing our economy..

Azusa is a great company and make several quality products in addition to being nice people. There are even several videos on youtube of them making older parts, great stuff.

For the karts, i'm not the biggest fan of their kit kart but you can build your own kart and use their wheels etc to produce a great product.

I'm starting my first kart too. Found a briggs engine in texas, having a local welder do the frame. Bought a bunch of steering and throttle parts online from an american based company but a few of the parts were made in china.
