image.jpgimage.jpgHello there, I am currently working on a predator 224 and for some reason, my brain is not working and I could not picture in my head how to run these vacuum lines. so I have two barb fittings on my crank case one on the valve cover one on the manifold and I have a oil can and a fuel pulse pump.. sooo if anyone can help me with connecting which lines to where I would be much appreciated!

I don't run a fuel pump so I can't comment on that. On my high rpm built engines, I run two lines from my side cover to the valve cover. I tap a 3rd port into the valve cover and run a line from the valve cover to a catch can. FWIW, I am not a fan of the clear plastic valve cover. I use the billet aluminum cover on mine.

For heavy breathing engines:
Run both breather lines from the crankcase side cover to two barb fittings in the rocker cover
Run a third line from the rocker cover to atmosphere, terminating in 1)catch can or 2) air filter 3) just a tube with a pcv
A slightly modified engine only requires one breather tube to the rocker cover.
have a look at my video, you'll need to stop it at a certain point but you'll see how I run them, this is typical for a performance engine.
The barb fitting in the inlet manifold is for a pulse pump.
There's too much turbulence in the crankcase to run a breather to atmosphere
hope this helps
Pauls Karts also has info on YT for engine breathing, black 66 also has videos on YT
