Hello I have this kenbar 956 I bought it's pretty much a roller. Hopefully you guys and gals can get me driving this thing. Ok the previous owner took out the driven and jackshaft and sprocket on the jackshaft setup. I picked up a genuine Honda gx340 with electric start and beable to run lights. Now I need help with what tav system to go with and gearing I believe the cart has a 60t on it. Also the chain tensioner not sure where or how it's mounted. Any advice would be greatly appreciated and pics would be awesome. Thanks:thumbsup:

pics would be awesome. Thanks

Precisely. Despite you naming it a "956" (and having us take the time to look it up ourselves), that could very well be erroneous or it could be a factory variant with major or minor changes to the configuration or it could be a look-alike. Then there's the previous owner and their oftentimes ill-advised "modifications". Can o' worms, that. :ack2:

Go karts aren't nearly as well documented as, say, automobiles are.

I was bored, so I posted this pic for my own amusement. With a Honda GX340 you're going to need a Comet series 40 TC, methinks. The rest is too much of a guess but it's all just guesswork in the end.

I have not heard any complaints about the Chinese KOs. Lots of guys here use them.

I have heard the Chinese TCs are decent--the belts not so much so you would be well-advised to invest in some quality TC belts from the good ol' USA in case the others don't work out too well. But that's all hearsay.

Your mileage may vary. I am not a lawyer--I only play one on TV. Void where prohibited. Batteries not included.

I say try the Chinese belts for starters. What are you talking about in regard to hole sizes?
