Need help identifying this kart

Modern Chinese headache (buggy). Looks like it has a G-y6 style engine and I can already see the mini rats nest of wiring by the steering column. Or does it have a dash board? Sorry to come off so negative sounding on your kart. I am not a big fan of those. In my opinion, the frames, the suspension, and the engineering are top notch. The fact that they try to turn it into an automobile with umteen electronic gizmos is the problem. Seems like the electronics are almost built to fail.

They don't have real brand names that are established in the global marketplace, it's just mass produced Chinese garbage from multiple factories with some name tacked on, usually a decal that does not linger for long. I always get a kick out of people buying unidentified ****; neither the buyer nor the seller knows what it is. 😁

They *are* top notch or they aren't? Wasn't sure if you were doing a total bash or not. I'm willing to concede that they can be well designed even though the rest (electronics, engine, etc) may be ill conceived for the application. I think they were designed to start-up and drive off the dealer lot successfully and last only as long as the warranty. 😁

I prefer the simplistic approach but it seems the frame and cage designers are often overcome with the desire to add as many frame members as possible until the whole assembly collapses from its own weight (and then they remove that one offending tube and call it good)! Lol

Appreciate your input. The wiring is a mess!!! Frame looks good though. Hopefully I can turn it into something worth enjoying

I like it. " Drive off the dealers lot ". Not what a go kart is supposed to do. I think a go kart should make it's way home in the back of a pickup truck or on a trailer. The only electronics it should have is the ability to produce a spark to fire the plug.

As for new karts, buggies, UTVs, side by sides, these Chinese machines are basically the only game in town for the price point. Those older genuine domestic go karts were "too dangerous" and a lot of kids were injured over the years doing things with them they weren't meant to do, I suppose, and the product liability lawsuits followed. It is what it is so we have these things with seatbelts and all the automotive features as a result. The mini bikes have not improved as much, however, and that is a good thing....

Just google go kart parts. Theres quite a few reputable shops.

I hate to bash a company also but... I suggest staying away from GoPowerSports. Everything they send is crap and breaks after the first few uses.

-Yes, thats a bold claim to make against a pretty popular company.

OMB Warehouse is good
BMI Karts is good but LOL they put those stupid $100 Jesus bills in your order and tell you youre going to hell. Thats ok, Ill do it using your parts.

There are several others but those are the two I go to.
