Need help identifying this cart!

got this cart a few years ago and need help identifying it. i would like to put the proper motor in it and everyone seems to have a different opinion. but id love to find out what should be and was in it.

I am not sure what it is, but it is interesting that the motor mount is at an angle

Looks like an angle mount for a West Bend. Post the pics at vintagekarts.com on the "What is it?" page. Make sure to use your real name when registering. Whatever it is, it's a sweet vintage kart.

It's funny- when I first saw it. ....I thought it was a one-off kart someone very talented had built in the 60's.....at least I had the time frame right. ....
