Guys, we have a customers custom buggy that the caliper needs replaced... I cannot find a replacement for. The owner seems to think the caliper is off an odyssey. I do not think it is. I ordered a yerf dog caliper that is similar but the yerf dog I ordered is a dual piston and the customer caliper is single. Here are the photos.
I would like to replace it with this exact caliper if all possible so we do not have to do any fabrication to the kart.

It's not an Odyssey FL250 or FL350. Both the Ody calipers are mechanical only. The brakes use the reduction to multiply force. So no need for hydrolic brakes.

Post a pic of the mark on the caliper I see in one of the pics. Perhaps a member can ID it that way.

I think it is a bike caliper. Is there any other bike parts on the buggy you can ID? Perhaps they used a doner bike and used other parts on the buggy from the same bike the caliper came from.

Okay- I'm not seeing things. I thought it was a dual-piston, too.

While a rebuild kit may not be attainable, sometimes you can get lucky with a generic O-ring or seal, or just a good teardown, cleaning, and reassembly.

That is a dual piston chines caliper. There are probably no rebuild kits available; you should do your customer a favor and buy a different caliper off of a common bike.

I think you nailed it with this one...
I have spoken with the customer and since he already purchased a caliper (yerf dog) he wants me to try to modify the bracket and install the one we purchased. Lucky me as I have no way of fabricating a new bracket. I am going to take the buggy down to a pal that does some welding to see if he can hook me up and modify the bracket that holds the caliper.
Thanks guys.

Thats an FL250 Honda Odyssey.

Another great Honda Odyssey fl250 moded buggy. Looks great.

So it is an odyssey...
My odyssey did not look like this..how many different 250 odysseys did they make?
Let me see if I can find a pic of the one I had..

It is a fl250 frame and front suspension. The rest has been modified. They all start out like the one you used to own. They have been modding these things for over 30 years now. I would fix that battery though. Also if you moved the upper front shock mounts to the frame you could add longer shocks with more travel. Like the blue on I have in the pics below.

Here are some of mine.

do yall see the honda three wheeler in the photo?
It does not run. Seems like no fire. The guy said it ran last year. So my thougt it, if it ran last year, it will run this year. The tank is laying on the ground.
Taking dibbs on it. Anyone?
IT might be worth around $250 to $300 as is. I tried to dump raw gas, and it did not fart or fire so i assume its either a plug, a box, or maybe nothing at all. I only pulled the rope about 5 times, did not pull the plug and not enough time for a diagnosis, but if my stuff don't start after the second pull I do not release it to the customer. I do not want to spend my time trouble shooting but it maybe be something real simply including a bad kill switch etc. I can probably take more photos if anyone is interested.
