need help finding a sprocket

Are you running a race kart style sprocket hub, (like my link below) or is it more of a fun kart style setup with a smaller sized center hole in the sprocket?

this is my sprocket hub. those sprockets look right but the price is a bit high. thanks anderkart. My kart is a yard kart. i want a little more bottom end for climbing hills. Ive taken it on alot of pretty rough loggin roads and it just needs a little more on the bottom. my top gear is a 10 and i cant get a smaller one.

worst case you could do a jackshaft setup.. and really gear it however you want

I know I've ran across some that were priced lower, I'll look around and see what I can find man.
Hey, how tall are your rear tires? Some of those larger #41 sprockets can start getting pretty tall, might be dragging on the ground with short tires...

should run a jack shaft just so you can run a small axel sproket and have better clearence

Their jack shaft idea is sounding beter and better. It really is hard to find a deal on a #41 over 60 tooth.

so whats this jack shaft thing you guys are talkin about? how would I go about doing this? Heres a link to my build, I have it done now and running. had it up to about 45 with a truck pacing me.

I saw your other threads pics and noticed your rear tires aren't very tall. (I'm guessing they're around 10"?) How many tooth sprocket is on there now? A 60 tooth #41 sprocket's OD is 9-7/8", so I was thinking anything larger is gonna have your chain trenching the ground.
I'm not sure of the best way to setup a jack shaft for you kart. I'm sure there's guys here that would, you might start a new thread with pics of your engine/drive wheel asking about that.
