Need help choosing tires!!

hey everyone just made a gokart and now a account. my kart is 5f long by 3f wide about 150 pounds it has a 196cc 6.5hp engine on it and a differential from a lawn mower now im wondering what kind of tires i should put on it ??? up till now ive bought cheap turf tires and hand cart tires but they dont last long. so any help would be appreciated. ( ps im in canada and would prefer not to spend $500 on tires :)

I am glad you wrote this post...
I right now have some rear 15x6x6 turf tires on the rear of my kart. I plan on putting those size up front too.

I like the ride height, stability, and torque with this size. My current kart is not complete. So I have not had a chance to wear the turf tires out...
I will be riding mainly road with the occasional drift into the yard. :auto:

Maybe Slicks then....huh. For you and me both... let us know your decision and review. As I am in the market soon after those wear down.

Posting Pics using the website:

1. Click on the go advanced icon next to "submit reply"

2. Click "manage attachments"

3. Click "choose file"

4. Choose correct pic, click "open" file

5. Click the "upload" button

6. Wait for the file description(s) to appear in the "attach files" box

7. Then just click the "submit reply" and you should be good to go
