I neeed help asap i got this gokart and he said it took a 1/2" bet and there is no way its a half inch cu its way to small and all it did was smoke 2 belts. The model is a panterra ty rail gokart and this is the torque converter i have. any idea what size belt it is so i can atleast get a ride or 2 out of it?

what TC is it? comet? if you arent sure, bring it to a go kart shop and have them fit you a belt. maybe even a lawn mower shop can get you a belt, or an car shop.

im not sure i think its a comet but im not positive what is the common belt width tho 5/8 3/4 i know its 25 inch long bel buit dnt know the width

Wont cost much aswell will it?(to get kart going).Stick around mods will help when they see thread and they no loads,there good

when toystory comes online and blaz they wil have info.you should have answers by the end of the day.put some pics up off the full cart.And when we click on your pics on link above,they come up very small

ill post full pics of it but ya the cart starts up first pull and runs great just wont move without the belt

do you have to order those or can u get one at a tractor supply store if i got a closer pic of the clutch would you be able to tell

defintely seems like the 30 series because the centrifugal part that closes in to grab thebelt only has one angled side the other side is flat

Dont post so many threads about the same topic and LISTEN to the advice people are giving you. It sounds like you've been using a plain ol' V-belt, but you need an asymmetric belt. Buy one of the ones in the links above and you'll be fine.
