Need clutch help

I have a go cart with a 7hp Briggs. i need a clutch that will work for the 42 tooth sprocket and the 25 inch wheels. help?

What size chain do you have?
A 10-12 tooth should work


But it also depends on what kind of kart you have, if it’s an off road type kart you may want a tc, live axle yard kart may want a tc, “one wheel peel” clutch should do you fine

If not the TC route... you might need to get a bigger rear sprocket... as there wont be any clutch with a small enough tooth count to get that going properly..... You need to get around a 6:1 ratio, but that varies with the rear tire size...

With 25" wheels, a 45T is not going to work. You will be geared too high. You are going to have to get a larger axle sprocket. You might find that you had a jackshaft, and that the 45T was the final sprocket in the combination.
