One of the ex's dad needed a cheap shed out back, he worked at a construction company and they through out old sandbags after using them twice. he collected them, soon we had enough to stack them up like bricks, pack them down. and build a shed that way.. was really easy, few years afterwards, saw on youtube, someone was doing this as an eco friendly home building project. eh, who would of known!? dunno how well it worked in the long run, we did pour concrete and footings as well.

Thats a cool idea.
My biggest challenge is my shop has to be moveable. We rent. Completed it sould be 10x16 but has to break down to no more then 4x8' (1 pallet wide by two tall). Right now its 10x8 or 9'. Its a free plastic storage shed that was picked up and tossed in a wind storm. It will all be roof when done.

What ya gonna do for footings?

Maybe try getting one of those hulling trailers, the longer ones. and build the shed on top of that, would be easier to move later on. and also the pallet idea would still work?

That pallet shed looks very impressive, you can't even really tell that's what it's made of from the outside.

I'd love to have a mini shop/shed in my backyard. If I built one though, I'd have to fence in the entire yard per the HOA rules... which I'm not willing to do since we are going to move in a couple of years, to a house with a real garage/mancave.

Guitars, drums, motorbikes, go karts, shop, and a beer fridge. GOOD times ;)
