need a shorter dipstick LOL

I need either the plug or the short dipstick for this 5hp horiz Briggs.

This long one isn't gonna cut it.
Anyone have a part number for it? I pulled this one and it is threaded in there but not NPT threads. Must take a plastic plug or short dipstick I'd guess.

rolled the dice and ordered 691913. Should work on 9Axxx engines. We'll see.

nope, it has two of those already and the threads don't reach down the hole. The dipstick's threads are partway down the shaft. That is what I need

That's what I use. Just fill it level. No need for a dip stick. Plus I know the engine takes 16oz of oil so when I change it (regularly) I put in 16oz. No real need for a dipstick to check oil level. Just my opinion and personal experience. I guess being on the safe side and having a dip stick to actually check is smarter.
