The cmpanys been out if business for twenty years. I keep hearing the belts were just made for that specific company so now the go-karts are just considered throw away karts.

That is what is called a cog type belt. Take better pictures and ask Itsid.

However, many thousands of people in my HVACR industry refer to tight radius notched belts made to bend around small diameter pulleys without cracking as cogbelts. Going by measurements alone to replace yours can get you led down some wasted paths and wasted effort.

Start here.... Cogged belts this will give you ideas of measurements and terminology you will need. I can 99% say that is a plain industrial belt.

No one is just going to engineer a belt for just a few thousand go-karts. You’d be surprised how much of our stuff is off the shelf.

www.zoro.com is my go-to for a lot of hardware and related stuff, huge varied inventory. Type "timing belts" into the search bar. They call those belts for your application "gearbelts".
Denny's right about off-the-shelf stuff. Don't know if you can get a match there, but I assure you they have that belt somewhere for some sort of power transmitting application.

St louis. I had a hard time believing they're meant to be " throw away " karts is what I've been told. Because parts are impossible to find is what I've been told.

Nothing is impossible to repair. You just have to be persistent when looking for parts, adaptable when modifying or changing parts and tenacious when fabricating parts. If you can get past that your golden. Your lucky there is hundreds of years experience on this site at any time. And it’s all yours for free, as long as you share what you learn.
