need a 1" bore 35 chain clutch

Hey, I've been on a major quest for a 1" clutches myself... :rolleyes3:

I've been beating the bushes around here and there doesn't seem to be many kart guys that have these big monsters laying around. Those ebay Comets seem to be about the best price I've found on a new one. I just heard about a local kart shop that has a functioning used 1' in stock. If its any good and i deside to pass, I'll turn you on to the deal. (they'd probably ship it) I'll try to let you know more tomorrow.

I'm installing an older style 10-hp Honda on a race cart I just got, what kinda project you got goin on over there?

Yeah, those 1"ers aren't all that common. I need one with a straight through 1" bore and the only one I've seen that will cut it is about $90.

That's what takes the "fun" out of the motors with 1" shafts... those &%$#-ing clutches.

Couldnt you just run a 1:1 ratio to a 3/4 jackshaft and run a 3/4 clutch to save money?

if you want a GOOD clutch for a 1" shaft that will NOT burn... minicup clutch from heeters.com hands down!
