n00b question about a RAGB

I just stumbled upon this link:

the last three models look like a RAGB rather than a diff to my eyes...
maybe that's closer to what you are looking for.

If you can id get my hands on a peerless 700 5 or 3 speed. You can run 1:1 pulley ratio if you want, and determine speed on how high or low you want with sprockets. That's so you dont overdrive the input shaft and gears inside. At the very least id change it to oil filled, not to hard. Racers machine the cases and fit needle bearings in there, but that's a different story.
Only things your really have to worry about is wearing out the input bearing/bushing and the shift keys.
