Can you post any pictures of how you mounted the motor? Also, can you tell me where did you purchased the sprocket for the motor? I bought the one listed below but it didnt fit the stock chain.

Did you get the buggy going? I had mine up to a very scary 22mph with 4x car batteries and I weighed 240lbs at the time. Keep the tires at 50PSI and these little buggies can handle a lot! I used an industrial motor and kept the #25 chain. Make sure the chain is perfectly aligned and it last no problem.

I got mine going. It tops out at 14 mph but its got a lot of torque. Its definitely fun to ride for my kids. I weigh 220 and it drives with no problem at that speed. Ive modified all are electric bikes from 24 to 36 but having done new motors and controllers and over volting, if i had to do it again i would skip 36 volts all together and go right to 48.

I have a razor 650 I am thinking about swapping the 650 to my sons Razor 350 and putting an 1800w brush less on the 650 and running r/c lipo packs.

reverse?

Hi again!

Has anyone figured out reverse with this controller? Or maybe it doesn't have it? That is the one big missing feature I'd like.

Right now my mini-quad goes reverse only (doh!) and I've also tried swapping the big 3 motor wires just to get the motor to spin the other direction but that didn't work. As-is, it seems like this motor (and controller?) are directional so I may need to swap sides with my motor. Hmmm...

Well, I'm writing the little lady tonight good thing you said something I'm dog tired after work!
Well, I "had" mine all up and running...
Not sure on any new connections except the thin blk/red with the little blk plug MAY? be for the alarm??? Anywho- I stopped my running motor seemed great!? Lets try a higher speed...
NOW, I got nothing but a hunk of steal!? No, nothing! It doesn't run in any speed!?
I triple checked before I jumped anything! It was the 3speed plug I hooked up bl to blk.
ANY IDEAS!!! ANYTHING, WILL BE MUCH APPRETIATED^___^
I don't remember that much(35yrs ago^__^) to test every component in the controller.
Everything looks unfried and in good shape visually! I got nothin'@<;}
Everybody's, been great! Thank You! Live Long Ride Sweet

I just bought this same motor/controller combo and am basically where y'all are at. I've gotten it to run at low and high speed (4500 and 5300) by jumping the "3 - speed" leads but I'm struggling with how to reverse this thing. I switched two of the phases but it wouldn't run at all.

According to other people in the power wheels racing league i may have success switching both motor phases and hall effect wires but also that some configurations can overspeed the motor. I eagerly await the reply from Vietnam

Tried a few other configurations of phases and hall sensors and I did get reverse motion with one setup but it sounded really rough. I don’t want to run it like that. The plug that looks like it should be reverse has 50V on one pin so I don’t want to jump that unless I’m absolutely sure of what will happen

Working on it!

The translated diagram is not a sure thing yet!((((
reversing is just swap the positive and negative on the brushed I'm not sure on the brushless Yet! You mess with the phase and hall your going to fry something! Come on.... povervheelz@<;} Real Bunk!
Here's some pics there's ONLY three harness' you should not(or maybe you did) figure out!!! Everything else is labeled!
Except display and converter which will follow...
the last three are the trouble makers the thin yl/rd/blk with blk plug is the display. Thin org/prp/blk is the converter which is???
This is the JX- qyp15wf01-a 48v 1800watt 30amp brushless motor
controller with low brake level

Any word from the wife?

I’ve reached out to the eBay seller who is apparently contacting the Chinese seller to get more info but this is frustrating as heck.

Need to grind off the old mounts and wait for parts still! I send pics!
Right now It should go for about $1200 and with the two sets of gears right now 27 to 37mph I'm havin' a buddy make me a 45 tooth and that will add another 10mph. She's gonna be bad! That's all figured with the calculator at electricscoter.com! What she'll really do the new 80mph speedometer will tell!^__^ Live Long And Ride Sweet

Well, this is what we come up with...
The only problem is your going to have to type it in English and look to match the scratch^__~ Or, If you PC is capable of switching from roman alphabet? Then your going to have still have to match the scratch again... I had done it yesterday after Mom's house... I checked
the file today and all the scratch was saved as bloody question marks Errrrrr!! When I pasted it in the file it appeared as like it was there and looked great and I was happy! WAS! I don't know why it is so hard^__~ to get this translated Because if I use this for anything else it translates into the roman alphabet in their pronunciation!!!
I love my Daisy - Tôi yêu hoa cúc của tôi - Vietnamese.
我爱我的雏菊 - Chinese The only way I see is if you have a copy of the diagram you can cut and paste from to the translator and do it in to English!!! I'll try! I don't see why not!
This is the cleaned!!! bunk I started with! It had a old 49cc it was missing a few parts and I just didn't want to get dirty on this one^__^
I will whoop the boys with the gas minis in the hood Silently flying by^__^ At 35-37mph IN STYLE!!! Just have to get a grinder and welder next week payday and make eight little shock brackets as I removed the mono shock to put the motor there and adding the two on outside of the swing arms. Better ride too! Won't be long!!!

Yeah we have the rsf 650 and it tops out at 20 stock. I can only imagine running that with this motor.

I didn't realize there was 3 speeds. So did you jump yellow and black pins to get high speed?

All in the gears

Going to have to have^__~ a 45 tooth made up for it! I Want 42-44mph out of it^__^ I'm sure that'll be dangerous! And, FUN!^__^ If it makes since... There is no room for a smaller gear then that(((((
And the gears for the motor itself are limited to 9 and 11 at least that's all I've found. Live Long Ride Sweet

---------- Post added at 07:44 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:37 PM ----------

bl/blk high and yl/blk low(you will know soon as you hookum' up) off is default (medium) and 4th creeper/50%(default speed it seems?) in any speed is double gray

I'm so glad I found this EIGHT years ago and kept it in the shed!
Other peoples junk is my one of a kind custom^___^
I may let it go for 12hundo...... Boing!
I found a new project already!!!
When this is done I'll clue everybody in!
But, I'm thinking eight to ten motors!!!^___^
And, a mini tracker pull contest!!!^__~
Guess, I gave it away@<;}
