So this is what happened in my house this weekend.

Yes its a home made spindle looks like crap but works.( Iv tested it) I have the other one just not welded yet. Theres my Shi* as* engine but it was free. So far total cost is 15$ and budget says should total out bout 75$ Mounting the engine tonight. Cant buy anything for a week(thats when I get cash). Its my first steel kart. Srry its so Shi** but its mine and cheap. Iv already got plans to swap the motor with a 200cc and put that lil one on a mini bike.

Unless you have the weight and build of a 4 year old, that motor isn't going to push you and the kart. Those little things struggle on a scooter or a mountainboard in stock configuration.

you will probably spend more in sprockets and adapters than you would simply buying a used vert shaft engine. Your going to need a jack shaft to get enough reduction, and you will probably need a custom machined adapter to run a clutch off that shaft.

Yah a tiller will be a good go kart engine but verticals shaft ones just are not worth trying to use
