How do I know which series I have? My current set up is a Max Torque converter on a 6.5 predator with a 3/4" shaft, my problem is the drive gets stuck when its engaged sometimes. I was testing the engine on the jack stands yesterday and noticed it was sticking sometimes, when I test drove it today it was happening more frequently. I am attaching photos and the link for where I am looking at, I really don't want to replace the whole converter if I don't I have to. I would prefer to just replace the drive.

Let me Clarify:

1. The driver is sticking, so it is trying to make the cart keep moving.
2. Due to this if I hit the brake it kills the engine. (because the driver is sticking).
3. To my knowledge no work has ever been done to the driver or torque converter.
4. When I watch the torque converter after I let off the throttle sometimes you can see the driver is still sticking out and grabbing the belt when it releases you can hear it actually pop free.
5. From what I can tell it seems that I am unable to dismantle the driver itself, I am going to try over the weekend but would like to have a spare on the way in case I destroy this one.
6. I will get pictures again once I pull the driver off again.
7. Everything else on the drive looks good including chain and sprocket.

I'm working on a how to clean a 30 series torque converter video. In the mean time check this out:

To dismantle drive. Use a wrench and hammer. Place stench on engine shaft bolt, hit with hammer to impact it out (counterclockwise=unscrew). The rest should come out easily.

Cool thank you I was able to get it off and apart luckily. It was funny though when I took it off originally I couldn't get it to come apart. I did clean it up some quickly as my kids are on the way home and will want to ride it, I will give it a good cleaning tomorrow.

Cool Half-breeder I will hopefully get to drive it again tomorrow, it did do much better on the stands in the garage then it did the other day. The black insert seemed to be sticking when I popped it off so I gave it a quick wipe down, I will pick up a wire brush tomorrow and some graphite spray and give it a good once over.
