My summer project

Hi, rookie builder here. I watched the colin furze video where he made a go kart without welding so i thought id give it a shot. The plan this summer is to build a nothing special kart with a 6.5hp predator from HF. Frame is 2" square tube with a .125" sidewall. Probably overkill but im hoping to upgrade to a smaller motorcycle engine and put some real suspension on it at some point down the road. Ive gotten most of the frame together. Its 62" long,
48-52" at the wheels, 32" wide at the wheels, 20" in the middle. Right now its about 80lbs.

Cool! You're right on the tube being overkill (and thus heavy) though. 1" by .125 wall would have been sufficient.

Nice! Just make sure that the nuts are secured properly with locktight, and maybe even cotter pins. Castle nuts are good too. You don't want anything rattling loose
