Got a sled for free so instead of using one of my snowmobile engines for my first build i'll use this one and see how it goes!

I'll start with pics!
Remove seat, tank, handlebars, throttle and choke cable and everything else that gets in the way!

Next take the bolts to the rear suspension out. The track on my sled was junk so I cut it and pulled the suspension out. I used a grinder and ground all the rivets out in the circled part in the pic.
When your done it should look like the second pic. This concludes the ****ty cell phone pics!

Now I started taking excess parts off the "frame" i'll call it. I removed the engine so I could flip the frame over and what not.

That looks like a nice project! I hope you get the engine running soon.
Btw, is that a torque convertor over there?

I've had it running already! Sucker has electric start too!
Yes that's a torque converter. I ran it after I chopped it out too! My boys wanted to see it run not in the sled!lolol

I plan on running the chain off the secondary clutch right to the axle with a chain tensioner in the mix too. I added a grease zert to the top of the chaincase and made a cover for the bearing so it will hold grease.
