Hope i posted this build in the correct place. As i stated in my interduction thread, i had to bring this kart up to my standered. I took a manco silver fox gfx 2 seater and i am transforming it into a single seat buggy. I had a 85 quad Sport sitting around for a couple years minus the motor. I decided to combine the two to make this buggy. Some of the build pic's are a year old or so. Some pic's are early ideas that i never went with as i learned things from a few different forums. Ill try to explain and get you all caught up to where im at with this build now. I'm open to advice and some constructive criticism. Please keep it clean and to the point. I will try to update as much as possible as i have múltiple threads on a number of forums. Pic's to follow shortly

build pic's

Ok now that i uploaded some pic's, I noticed i cant edit them the way i wanted as they all came up as thumb nails. The latest pic is of the x bracing of the roof, inside roll bar and taller side rails. As i upload more ill do them one at a time, so I can describe what im doing in each pic.

Well went and checked the buggy out. I offered the guy $275 and he didn't take it to well so I walked lol. I tryed telling him I could get this set up from a scrap yard for a couple hundred. Oh I'll just keep pushing forward.

Update:

Couple pic's of the roll bars I have been working on. Almost complete. It's starting to look like more of a buggy then a kart.

@ landuse, sorry I don't know how I missed your post. I didn't know there was a size limit on the pics since the site let me upload them. I didn't embed them. I just uploaded them from my phone. If this is a problem let me know and I'll try and down size them next time. Thanks

It been a few since I updated. I didn't get to work on my buggy all last week. I did get out to the barn for a few the last couple days. I got a couple more things going. I tacked up the front support bar on the front of the buggy. I also got the right side axel guard tacked on. Used my old quad nerf bars for that. I also had to take the yellow screen I had tacked in behind where the seat goes, so I could tack the back side of the x brace that I made for the rear of my buggy frame. I'll get the left side axel guard put on some time this week. Stay tuned for more. Here's a couple pics

Thanks Ozan -fox, it's taking me awhile but I'm getting there. Had to go this route seeing I'll be putting a sled motor on it. If I left it the way I got it, it would be sitting in the scrap pile by now lol

I know what you mean. I still haven't finished mine yet. I have been back and forth on putting a sled or quad engine on mine. I have allot of mud where I ride and when a belt gets wet it's no fun.

Ozan-fox, I hear ya.Imo I think the quad motor option would be your best bet with the mud situation. Not unless you build some sort of belt guard to keep the mud and water out.

Hey all, wow it's been a minute since my last update. Been pretty busy lately with no time for the buggy. My old rider took a **** so I had to go buy a new one. That's gonna dip unto the buggy funds. Were going camping over 4th if July weekend and our old camper decided to start leaking from the roof, had to fix that. Helped a buddy of mine put brakes on his kids car. Not to mention having to pur them on my truck as well. I did finally get out to the barn today and did a little work. I Got the left side axel guard on. I also got the last two roof supports in. Next I flip it on it's side and weld the whole inner right side. Then moving back to the front and get that finished up. Well that's enough talk. Here's a couple pics including my new mower
