My predator issues.....

Hey guys, I got a predator 212. It was stock, I've added aftermarket stock carb, header, and bypassed the gov. It was running rich and had a hard jerk when accelerating. I cleaned the carb, put in a new spark plug, added an intake, and jetted the carb. It now dies when i give it a little bit of throttle and to make it go, I have to give it about 65% throttle to go. It also still jerks when I accelerate. Help would be greatly appreciated.

What jet size did you go with?

Don't bypass the gov... Leave it intact or remove it completely...
Drill and do a plug test accordingly...

I drilled the jet out with a .8mm drill bit

Hard to start? Do you have to give it gas to get it to start?

That would be a .031in... As I recall that is a bit small, hence starting issues...
You would need to go up a few sizes, to around .035±.....

Its not hard to start. I can stilll start it on the first pull. Ithe next size up drill bit is 1mm that I is a bout .39,,

You need a number drill set... Not metric...
