hey guys, i just started using these forums 5 minutes ago, but i would like to show you some pictures of the engine im redoing as a project... ask questions - thanks!

it is a 5hp briggs and stratton (model - forgot read side of engine) everything has been polished - intake/ exhaust bored out, new rings, performance piston, custom air intake, Royal Blue paint (clear coat only on gas tank until i run it) new carb kit, carb bored out, STILL HAS GOVENOR, has compression and will run tommarow

where the engine is not paited - there will be red paint - i will run it first though - all it needs is a exhaust (it will run on the day after this post)

All that port work and stuff isnt going to get you much if your sucking through that stock air filter. The exhaust port is already too big on these engines so enlarging it may result in less power.

with the air intake, im going to have a design from PVC pipe that brings it around to the front of an engine, and have a K&N air intake or something to help with air flow.

I love the color, is it going on a certain piece of equipment or did you just decide to rebuild it?

its going on an old single seater go kart that is being rebuild as well
