that is pretty nice car. i have been thinking about sticking a big block in my truck but can't find one that i can afford. everybody seem to thing they are worth $1000+ even though most of them are coming out of rv's with tons of emissions crap that would have to be rebuilt to really make any power.

funny you mention rv, that 440 in my coronet is out of a 78 champion. 38 k miles. I cleaned it up, added mild cam, intake and shorty headers and now i have a nice driver. gave $400 for the junkie rv, scrapped out steel and aluminum and made $500, sold genset for 300.

ya. i don't think i would get that lucky here. i know i can get a seized 440 and trans out of a 76 or so truck for $300 but it would be a gamble. i know the exhaust manifold were missing which could get expensive to replace.
