I do not know for a fact. I have never seen anybody Test it.
But user "FiremanJim" who I respect, Claims With just those simple bolt on upgrades it will get you from 6.5 to nearly 10.

You'd better be very careful riding your kart in grass or especially trails with 13" tires. You will catch something with your sprocket and really mess up your day.
