Ive been riding it for about thirty minutes. Rough ride! But the motor and clutch are flawless. Seems pretty stout to. Is it dangerous to turn the throttle screw out? And any idea what would cause it to stall out in a real sharp corner? Like say maybe you were doing a doughnut in gravel

Its stalling because of the low oil sensor. You can disconnect it by slicing the wire coming out of the engine case (I think its yellow on the predator, not sure though.)

For the past few days ive been busy with alot of things. Havent had much time for any of my own cart projects. But i did get the front clip cut off and rewelded a new one back on. I got my friends manco repainted and assembled all but puttin the cage back on and sewing up a seat. Already have the padding and everything. Its almost like memory foam. Gotta have this completed before christmas for his kids. The other project i worked on this weekend was another cart a different friend bought(well he bought two but more about the big one when we start on it) has to be the smallest cart ive ever seen. From what ive leArned so far the steering wheel, pedals, and parking break design im guessing its also a manco. Got it stripped down and ready to paint. Not sure what the engine will be on this one. And in other news i made a deal with a guy about a huge cart. Dont want to say to much about until its here. Should pick it up this weekend. Update on that later

The christmas present project:

The mini cart lol

Awesome brakes

So i couldnt wait. I went and picked up another cart. I bought this one for me. Now i have this and the old thunder cart(should be back on that project shortly after christmas). Not 100 on whats gonna power this thing yet. I like the rest of the setup though. Its a tomberlin crossfire 150r. 4 wheel hydraulic disc breaks, rack and pinion steering and what seems to be pretty decent suspension. Got to be smoother riding than my buddies manco thats been beating me relentlessly. What do you guys think about her?

So i knocked out the rest of the christmas gift this weekend including making an entirely new seat. I made it from 3/4 inch plywood that i waterproofed with some shower sealer.( i lay floor for a living, these boards will never rot from moisture) some memory foam pad and black leather. Now i can get back to my own!

thunder cart

So I finally had to time to put this together. Glad to get it going as this is the one that started this whole hobby for me. Ive been collecting parts since Christmas. Its all made from things I had around the house except all the bolts and engine. It is still single wheel drive. Predator 212 all stock for except for a tank relocation so I could use the original engine mount. Tach/hour meter and throttle on steering wheel.

more thunder cart work

So I am not done fabricating yet! So all the digging ive done has yeilded very little posts or info about this particular cart. I found one from a few years back about a guy with a 50 mph thunder cart dream. Now ive GPS clocked mine at 40 mph. And let me say you guys were right about it being to much for a thunder cart. After a bit of jackassery I flipped mine in the pavement.

So I have two different parts to this upcoming project. One I want to lower the front of the cart. Second I want to improve the overall steering in general. Ill post some pics of what it looks like now and my newly proposed design.

I plan to cut off the front end where the three main bars hit the square tube in the front. The sketch is what I plan to make to replace all that which will bring my front end down. At the same time I want to improve my Ackerman as much as possible. This will also give me the clearance needed to reverse my spindles to trailing.
