I don't quite follow. Did it materialize out of thin air (so to speak)?

No, we were hanging out at a buddies house, got to talking go karts while we were looking at this, and the next thing you know, we have it stuffed into the back of Kelly's Durango.
His plans at the moment are to remove the body and need bars, install a stock predator, and let his son just enjoy riding it for a while....... But just like you guys, I know that he is kidding himself, and will soon GAB out on this thing,
Hence the thread title.

So ... this is a JOE NEIGHBOR'S Kart.
Put out by the NACHO KART manufacturing company?

I'm afraid insanity is contagious and there is an outbreak around here. Your friend probably caught it from you. I have also caught the bug.

Man after two days at the OffRoad Park I want a Raptor 700R or YFZ450R.
What were you racing against?

Maybe after I build my supercharged 420cc buggy and sell it for a huge loss...

I raced my minibike against a 700 Raptor with less than stellar results. I have no doubt I'm insane, I just didn't realize it was contagious, I'm truly sorry for it if it is, this particular disease is expensive and a lot of work. My neighbor may not be too far gone yet, I was trying to get him to put the motor I put together for the minibike on it, but couldn't get him talked into it.
His wife was REALLY proud of him for carrying a dirty go kart in the back of HER durango, lol.

In your opinion, what is more fun?

The Raptor 700 has more bottom end and easier to drive, but requires upshifting sooner to stay in the powerband?

The YFZ450R is described as race ready.

Even though they are both 4 stroke, it seems like the big 700 acts like the 4 stroke and the YFZ450 acts like a 2-stroke?

1600 miles round trip may be bit much for me.

I don't get 2 days off in a row, but I could make this happen.
I just started looking on craigslist around here.

I'll let you know.
Thanks
