I gotta critter ll that needs a motor. I got it cuz its got a cage, belts, and its barely big enough to fit me and one kid. So its safe for me to take them for rides and small enough that they can run it in a year or two. What i dont like is there is nothing to keep there legs inside. They can hang them out the side. All four of my kids are still under 5. And like i said, needs motor. Came with two subarus, both junk. Working on that problem now.
Also have my tractors, one mtd tradesman (its a biggin for a lawn tractor), a montgomory ward, mowed with it for 14 years, and a troybuilt bronco. The three are currently bein combined to make one bad a$$. The leftovers will be used to build a mini jeep, go kart, or both. I have an old cut up kart frame that i may use. Just depends on what i have left to work with as to what i build first.
Feel free to shoot me some ideas, advice, so on.
Thanks for the read.

busy indead! lol

My montgomory ward was on the table as a racer but that plan is pretty much scrapped. I am now thinkin of useing its body on the tradesman since i rolled the tradesman a few times and demolished the steering. But plans change alot around here so i may go back to that. A friend sugjested i build a compation tractor puller with the tradesman so im thinkin of goin that route.
...I have certianly been busy but not as much as you might think. I have a 4.5 y/o boy and a 3.5 y/o girl from a previous marrage. Then i remarried and she has a 4 y/o girl and together we have a 5 month old boy. Always said id never have kids but now my only regret is that i waited till i was 27 to start a family.
...Now we have settled on an old dirt road (much like were i grew up) to raise our kids but unlike my childhood i want them to have more then an old bicycle and i am desprite to make it happen. I have posted on my facebook sites the motor from my montgomory ward and extra go kart parts to try to get the kids kart motor.

You could make some strap or net based leg restraints, but I think you are far better off just training them. Tell them to keep their arms and legs inside, and the moment they slip up, stop the ride and tell them why. Do it enough times and they will get it. Nobody wants to stop!

leg restraints and training

Training goes without saying. We have riding rules for thier powerwheels and razor electric dirt bike. But when we got it, before the carb completely went, i took is across the feild and was dang near throw out of it by all the bumpin around. I was thinkin the same thing (nets) or possably steel mesh but it my work like a cheese grader aginst thier little legs. Mybe some thin sheet metal.:horse:

:lolgoku::kewlsmiley::funnypost:

The first one would appear to be a drag strip only model due to clearance constraints; the second one kind of falls into the same category due to its tendencies to wheelie at the drop of a hat. The third one has potential as a street/ strip machine, but some work needs to go into it so the driver doesn't pick up a new nickname like "Lefty" or "Stumps".....:oops:

Very funny, all around!!!:thumbsup::cheers2::popcorn:

Lmao! Yeh, they would all take some doin to make work. The first would be an offroader built with a 16hp engine and peerless 820 5 speed transaxle and lawn tractor front axle and spindles.
The second would be just that, a twin engine wheely machine. Or you could put an engine at each end and build a quad steer 4x4 kart.
The third i would recess the engine into the wagon so it would place the chain and shaft under the wagon shell. Somethin like that anyway.
But for now im outta cash and weldin wire so im just... :horse:

My landlords yerf dog project. Hes putting a 10hp generator motor on it and atv front hubs so he can put front brakes on it. Here in West Virginia there are steep hills and steeper hills so front brakes are a must if you wanna go anywere but the road and pasture.

I paid $150 for this atv brand new in the crate! The engine didnt pass an emitions test so it was sold with no motor on ebay for $150, $200 shipping. Luckly i live 75 miles from the company so we drove up to get it for $50. Wile there i bought a 90cc engine for $175 still in a box and got extra carb (from origanal 110cc engine) free. Next day i bolted it up (it was a plug in match) and was ridin it when the landlord got home. I had $375 in it and in 24 hours had $500 in cash in hand for it! :sifone:
