i assume u mean slack chain? lol if so as i said i got a proper kart engine mount and just drilled into that so i can still use the chain adjuster on the frame. as for the gear lever i havent started it yet im just useing the normall pitbike lever for now untill i get some meterial to start it. i will probly just basicly extend the original lever and mayb bring it in abit so its just sitting on my right side of the seat. the tank above the engine will be the permanant tank. i was goin to use the one under the steering colum but like uve just said u need a pump. so ive just gone for the simple old gravity fed way

heres link for engine mount. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/KART-GX-120-1...s_ET?hash=item3eed993137&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
gearing atm front is 14t i think (standard pitbike) and rear is 32t but im goin to order a 24t for the rear as the 32t is too revy nice for bottom end but lacks abit on top end. that engine mount is the most expensive one lol only reason i bought that 1 was becoz its totaly flat and easier to make your own holes so suits the pitbike engine nicely. id advise getting something a little less pricey tho and welding a flat peice of steel on the top (thats what i should have done) :roflol: the pitbike front srockets are 428pitch and the chain and rear srocket are also 428 pitch but there proper kart parts :thumbsup: so it worked out just fine if you need any help on bits you are stuck on let me know coz ive been there lol hurry up and get a trad up coz im bored of mine ha lol

Hey maynard, you've really done a great job there.
What kinda chassis is that? It looks exactly like my buddy's (late-90's/British made) Wright kart.

hi all

done some final bits on the kart..

resit clutch assembly.
strenthend 2nd engine mount and painted up.
done some adjustments to body work so it all sits alot better also managed to paint the nosecone and the left pod.
fitted a another set of wider wheels and tyres.
made some adjustments to the fuel tank mount and painted up.
fitted a 26t rear sprocket.
tried to fit a bigger front sprocket but need to get a stator side case with open sprocket.

any ways got some video after spending hours looking for some where to test it..

how did oyu get that rear bar that attaches to both sides? it gives it a touch of elegance... and also probably helps with bracing

NICE VIDEO!!!!! :drool5::drool5:
It has inspired me to do a similar one for my kart, hopefully with a better cameraman than the one who did my drag videos, :cool:

Yes, video, I should have done one the other day when I was playing in the parking lot at work, it's not a big area, but there's enough room to do some drifting and donuts, maybe we can slide down the road to a bigger parking lot, and I can actually get out of first gear. :cool:
