My first restoration

It all started last summer... I found a pretty 5 hp Briggs and Stratton at a yard sale, it looked brand new. Then I needed something to put it on... which lead me to buy a go kart, then another, then another, then another, then another. (doesn't everyone do that?)

Well, the first two karts are still in the collecting parts phase. I chose to restore the 3rd one first. It needed the least to get it done.

Here it is, as I bought it, then as I sold it.

Very nice.

Definitely would recommend putting some tire shine on to help accent the finished look.

Well yeah, OK... dusty tires noted. I did notice the dust in the photos... didn't notice it out in the sun. I'll try to do better next time. It did sell within 12 hrs though. I have the second and 3rd restorations to post next. They're sold too, so if those tires were dusty in the photos... :O
