My first build Spidercart Arachnid for my Grandson

Started building earlier this year, getting close now and thought I would share my version of an Arachnid.

If the grandkid gets the fun of having it and the super fun of driving it, the grandpa should get the fun of building it and the super fun of doing it from scratch.

Yup! That’s the only way to get one! No granddaddy store yet.

Mostly 1 1/4 square 14ga, not sure the brand of shocks, bought a parts kit from BMI karts

Here is the finished product, the last picture is of the plans I purchased, a spidercart Arachnid.

That came out really nice. You should be very proud of your accomplishment.
Hope the Grandkids love it. Do your neighbors put up with the straight pipe ?
A performance muffler will actually get you around 1/4 to 1/3 more H P. And it will take some of the sting out of your ringing ears.

That is nice work! Now that one is done, you can take your time and do that scratch built one. I’ve built two from scrounged junk and scrap metal. Thats where the fun is.

How are you powering the light bar? I don’t see an alternator. Will the charging coil put out enough juice for that?

Thank you..............It is pretty loud , will probably put a muffler on it, doesnt need more HP yet as he's only 3 , what muffler do you suggest?

Thank you...............you have more patience than i have looking for everything ..........I have a battery mounted behind the seat, the light bar is more for aesthetics than anything.

beautiful job. Monster roll cage, are you expecting it to go wheels up ? Is the motor a 420 ?.. I built a roll bat on my arachnid.....but no cage.

Thank you, just wanted it safe, my grandson just turned 3........its a predator 212, i removed the governor, and built a straight pipe, re jetted and added an air filter.
