EDIT: Sorry i thought i put this in the Project log section..If a mod could move this there that would be awesome thanks:) And again..sorry!

Well im really excited to show everyone on here photos of my first bike project... I have been working on this bike for about 2 weeks or so, and things are coming along very nicely. I haven't had any problems yet!!

Started as this green Next Freestyle BMX Bike.

Then a few cuts later it look'd like this!

The reason for the cuts was so i could add an extra 8'' or so of tubing to make the bike a lot longer.. I want this bike to have more of a chopper feel to it.

Here she is all welded together. Had some help from my doggie:wai:

And here a picture of the rake i added to it!

And this is where i am currently at! My future engine will hopefully be a 5.5 Briggs horizontal that my dad might be gettin for free at his work because the piston clip is broken or something small like that...so im like Il take it!!! If that fails i have a older 8hp briggs vertical with a transmission that will make it horizontal...That will take some nice engineering though lol

Sorry for all the pictures, but im very excited i finally get to build myself a motorized bike. I have been wanting to do this since i was 10; and im now 15. I had my friend pull me around the street with a rope attached to his bike, and this is actually very sturdy when riding.

why would you want a vertical shaft motor? or a way to make a horisontal shaft into a vertical output?
