just picked up this baby off craigslist for a mere $120 :)
motor pull string is jammed, but its going electric anyway...

This will be my upgrade from my slightly smaller single drive wheel to a live axle...
I didnt realize it till I bought the cart, but it even comes with a Jackshaft, which is awesome since I was thinking I would need a massive 70t #40 sprocket to get the gearing low enough... now I wont... :)

couple quick questions if you dont mind...

eye balling the axle, with a measuring tape, it looks like its only 3/4" isnt that kinda small?

also, all the components on the axle are loose (rotation wise) by about 10 degrees or so... my guess is it looks liek the wrong size axle key stock was used, does that sound likely?

lastly, if you look at the pic of the wheel, theres no nut on the end (the other side has one), but it looks like the end of the axle is flared, almost like it was pounded with a hammer?

Electric? I gotta watch this. 3/4 Inch is found in most of the karts around. for the loose axle components, can you get us a more nearer shot? And the last one- Yes it has been beaten up by a hammer. You'll need a new component there

PS; love the radio flyer!

Ill try to get a close up picture if I remember...
When I looked at it up close it almost looks like the key was undersized, or severely beat up...
should at least work for now, just need to get this thing up and running in 9 days...

for the beat up axle, I figured I would just have to live with the current setup for awhile till I have the time and money to upgrade/fix it.. would eventually like to add a disc brake instead of the drum as well...
