the gokart is based on a 36v 1000w my1020 motor , modified (better cooling , 5 turn wire less on the rotor coils )
i have mesured the power at 2530W continus at 48v, with the efficientcy of the motor i can said 3hp mecanical power
it is powered with 4 12v 15ah longex deep cycle battery in series
the controller is self made (if someone want i can put the schematic and the pcb online)
it can handle a current up to 100A and 80v , with curant limit adjustable and under voltage shut-down
i use a 70A automotive relay as kill switch and a 60A rearmable fuse , the power wire is 4mm2 industrial wire
the main frame is 40mm square tube , the axle is 20mm c45 precision steel rod
11 tooth sproket on the motor and 64 tooth on the axle
the total weight is only 34kg with battery , speed up to 40km/h in 6 seconds on flat
